Wildfire season shuts down all public access to Land Trust preserves

September 17, 2020

Land Trust preserves are currently closed to public access for the remainder of the 2020 fire season as a measure of safety during these extreme conditions.

In addition, as stated in our June update below, all Land Trust hikes, workdays and preserve orientations remain cancelled through the end of 2020 as a precaution for Coronavirus.

We look forward to reopening and seeing you again when conditions change.

Coronavirus precautions cancel LTNC hikes, workdays and orientations through end of 2020

June 26, 2020 – UPDATE

After careful consideration of the safety of our volunteer hike leaders, staff and the public and in consideration of the social distancing regulations, we have cancelled all our hikes, workdays and preserve orientations for the remainder of 2020.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you at future events. In the meantime, visit our Public Parks & Trails page. We hope you get outside and safely enjoy nature as often as you can, in areas where a 6 ft or more social distance can be maintained.

We miss seeing you out on the trails and can’t wait to see you again just as soon as it is safely possible.
