Explore The Land

We’d love to have you join one of our guided hikes, and we understand that busy schedules can make advanced planning challenging. That’s why we offer the resources below as an alternative for exploring Napa County’s open spaces.
In addition to completing hundreds of conservation easements with private landowners, the Land Trust has partnered with state and local agencies to protect thousands of acres of beautiful open space. These lands are now public parks and recreational areas available for everyone to enjoy. Learn more here.
Highlights of these protected spaces that we recommend checking out include Alston Park and Trancas Crossing Park in Napa, significant portions of Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, an addition to Bothe-Napa Valley State Park, the Jack and Bernice Newell Open Space Preserve, and areas managed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Before heading out, always check the weather. Extreme weather conditions or fire weather watches may automatically close properties for safety.
We hope you take the time to experience the beauty of Napa County and enjoy the peace and inspiration that nature provides.
