the hike
Grab a spot on this hike at one of our newest acquisitions, the Walt Ranch! Not yet open for public recreation, Walt Ranch protects critical watersheds and open space habitats—Trek through expansive oak woodlands and grasslands with views of other protected lands. We will stick to existing ranch roads on a straightforward loop route.
Note: Access to the parking area requires a high-clearance vehicle.

Registration
All Field trip registrations close three (3) days prior to the event date. An adult must accompany all minors under 18 and complete a minor waiver in person.
Note that we require all attendees to sign a participation waiver in person at the start of the event. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete this step.
