the hike
Grab a spot on this hike at one of LTNC’s newer acquisitions, the Walt Ranch! Not yet open for public recreation, this property protects critical watershed and open space habitat. This outing provides an expansive hike through oak woodlands and grasslands with views of other protected lands. We’ll stick to existing ranch roads on a straightforward loop hike. (MEMBERS ONLY)
Required: Access to the parking area requires a high-clearance vehicle.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date. Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate. All additional attendees/guests must complete a waiver in person prior to the start of the event.
A completed waiver is required before registering for a hike.
