the hike
Visit two old-growth trees off Midway Trail, a 2,000-year-old Tan Oak and the Old Maxwell Redwood. Enjoy moderate hiking on the mossy rock trail to Martin Spring. Connect to the easternmost redwood grove in the state on Moore Creek. Return via a strenuous 500 ft gain trail through the redwood grove.

Registration
All Field trip registrations close three (3) days prior to the event date. An adult must accompany all minors under 18 and complete a minor waiver in person.
Note that we require all attendees to sign a participation waiver in person at the start of the event. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete this step.
