Missimer Wildflower Walk

About
the hike

A second opportunity to visit our Missimer Preserve in Snell Valley. It is known for the diversity and display of wildflowers that occur in its rare serpentine meadow habitat during the spring. Bay Area botanists have long recognized this meadow as a gem of the regional flora of the North Coast Ranges. Highlight species include Delphiniums, cream sacs, and Ithuriel’s spear. After exploring the main meadow, we’ll have lunch next to a small creek.
