Hike through the historic and beautiful Mead Ranch in the hills northeast of Napa to see a rare treat: its vernal pools and wildflowers. With the return of rain, these pools come alive with ephemeral blooms found only in vernal pool ecosystems, offering a fleeting and remarkable glimpse into one of California’s most unique natural habitats.

All Field trip registrations close three (3) days prior to the event date. An adult must accompany all minors under 18 and complete a minor waiver in person. Please note that all additional attendees/guests must also complete a waiver in person before the event.
A completed waiver is required before registering for a hike.
