the hike
The Henry Ranch walk is a great way to ease back into hiking. This scenic route winds through vineyards, old-growth trees, and open meadows, offering opportunities to observe birds and, on clear days, enjoy sweeping views of the Delta. The walk includes a gradual ascent up a moderate slope before reaching a broad ridgeline of rolling hills alongside Henry Road. One short but strenuous uphill section marks the high point; after that, it’s all downhill.

Registration
All Field trip registrations close three (3) days prior to the event date. An adult must accompany all minors under 18 and complete a minor waiver in person. Please note that all additional attendees/guests must also complete a waiver in person before the event.
A completed waiver is required before registering for a hike.
