the hike
This scenic trek takes us into the Dunn-Wildlake Preserve, beginning at the Hunting Camp trailhead. From there, we’ll head uphill to Three Peaks and continue along Rattlesnake Ridge, where we’ll enjoy lovely views of the valley. We’ll then descend toward Bell Creek before tackling a steep climb up to Poppy Flat, returning to our starting point to complete this rewarding loop. It’s a fantastic hike that showcases the diverse terrain and beauty of the preserve.
Bring: lunch, water, sun protection, and clothing for variable weather.
Required: hiking boots, as this is a strenuous hike.

All Field trip registrations close three (3) days prior to the event date. An adult must accompany all minors under 18 and complete a minor waiver in person. Please note that all additional attendees/guests must also complete a waiver in person before the event.
A completed waiver is required before registering for a hike.
