Getting that itch to get outside? Help is coming as our 2019 Spring/Summer Field Trip Guide will be out in late February, offering hikes to all kinds of places. Whether it be finding fungi at Wildlake, taking a paddle down the Napa River or stargazing at Wantrup, there is always something for everyone.

Members-Only hikes will be in the mix as well, so if you haven’t joined already or need to renew, now is a great time with outings like post-fire botany, a full moon walk and wildlife tracking all on the schedule.

Listed below are few to give you an idea of what’s to come. We look forward to seeing you out there, so get those boots ready and #gohikenapa!

July 28: Old Baldy Meteor Showers on Wildlake
Leader: Randy Fischer
Rating: Moderate, 6 miles, 1-2k ft elevation gain
There are three different meteor shower events that should be active in July. We will start VERY early in the morning to hike to Old Baldy where we’ll watch the sky for an hour or two before sunrise. We’ll look for meteors, observe sunrise and hike back. Some sort of chair or seat is HIGHLY recommended.
