Dec 9: Wragg Ridge Preserve

Rating: Moderate, 4-5 miles, 1-2k ft elevation gain

Join us on a ridgetop road hike in the 1950 acre Wragg Ridge Preserve just south of Lake Berryessa. Most of the Preserve was burned in the 2020 LNU Fire, and we will observe the post-fire response of oak forest and chaparral habitats three years after. We will stop for lunch in the shade of an oak woodland forest.

Required: Hiking boots or sturdy trail shoes.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
