Nov 18: Oat Hill Mine Trail to Dunn-Wildlake Preserve

Rating: Very strenuous, 12 miles, 1-2k ft elevation gain

Vigorous hikers will enjoy this challenging hike up, down, and across the ridges between Calistoga and Angwin, a distance of approximately nine miles. This is a strenuous all-day hike along often steep and open terrain. There will be expansive views into Pope and Napa Valleys. Beginning in Calistoga at the historic Oat Hill Mine trailhead, the Dunn-Wildlake Preserve makes for a very pleasant end to the day’s journey.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
