May 4: Long Canyon

Rating: Strenuous, 9 mi, 1.5k ft elevation gain

Explore the remote Knoxville Wilderness in northeast Napa County during its prime season. The Long Canyon trailhead is approximately 9 miles north of Lake Berryessa. Our all-day hike offers views of late spring wildflowers, valley oaks and blue oaks, red-tail hawks, and sweeping vistas of Blue Ridge.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
