May 6: Archer Taylor Preserve Drop-in Orientation

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Leaders: Will Painter & Ann Taylor Schwing

The Archer Taylor Preserve (ATP) is a majestic treasure of the Mayacamas Range and deserves to be appreciated by all! Stop in anytime between 9 am and 2 pm for this drop-in orientation event. You’ll learn about visitor guidelines, facilities and trail conditions, as well as some of the cultural and natural history of the preserve. You’ll also gain insight into the Land Trust of Napa County and its mission.

All visitors must check in with guides in the parking area to sign the required liability waiver before exploring the preserve. Once you’ve completed the orientation, you are welcome to return to the preserve on future visits after first checking in ahead of time with our caretakers.

Location: the Archer Taylor Preserve, 6000 Redwood Road. Recommended: closed-toed shoes, long sleeves and pants, especially for those interested in hiking.

Note: public restrooms available but no potable drinking water, so please bring your own.
