Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time during our Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event on Monday, January 21 at Connolly Ranch. We’re now in our 4th year for this event, and it’s always impressive to see how many people come out to donate their time.
Connolly Ranch, a property owned by the Land Trust, hosted their own student camp while volunteers joined us and the Napa County RCD for the workday.
Part of our land stewardship work is getting dirty and removing invasive plants, and the extra hands made the work go faster. The brand new native plant saplings that were ready for a new home appreciated the effort as well.
This event was in partnership with Napa County RCD and led by students of the Napa Youth Stewardship Council. Our gratitude goes out to all those students who did such an amazing job organizing. And big thanks again to all of the hardworking volunteers who came out to help. See you next year!
