Archer Taylor Preserve

Located on the west side of Napa Valley, the Archer Taylor Preserve consists of 380 acres including a century-old redwood forest in the Redwood Creek.

Wantrup Wildlife Sanctuary

This Preserve has 730 acres of oak savannah, oak woodlands and migratory bird habitat located in Pope Valley. The property was conveyed to the Land Trust by Professor Siegfried von Ciriacy-Wantrup in 1982 and has the best example of oak savannah habitat in the Land Trust’s permanently held lands. In areas where cattle were removed, valley and blue oaks are interspersed with native grasses, wildflowers and shrubs.

Missimer Snell Wildflower

273 acres of this Snell Valley Preserve protects some of the most outstanding and rarest native wildflowers in Napa County.

Archer Taylor Preserve

ATP Closed on Weekdays Until Further Notice

Napa County workers will begin reparations to existing damage on Redwood Road. Public access on Redwood Road will be closed Monday through Friday while the county crew is active. As such, Archer Taylor Preserve will be closed to ALL public visitors, including day hikers, group hikes and researchers, during the week until roadwork is completed. If you are interested in hiking at the Preserve on the weekends, and have previously been on the Preserve through guided hikes or workdays, please contact the ATP hike line at atphiker@napalandtrust.org.
