A large diameter Douglas fir tree fell over the trail to Linda Falls on our Linda Falls Preserve a couple weeks back. To help us with the work involved in clearing the trail, Clif Family Winery donated the time of their Conservationist Drew Erickson, a former U.S. Forest Service trail crew member with experience bucking (i.e. cutting into smaller pieces) fallen trees.
Thanks to Drew’s expertise, the trail is clear now, save for a little sawdust.
