April 14: East Side of Berryessa Birding

Rating: Moderate, 2–3 miles, < 1k ft elevation gain

This is your chance to be on the cutting edge of bird watching on the LTNC’s easements on the east side of Lake Berryessa. These conservation projects, completed in stages between 2015 and 2019, span more than 13,000 acres. Bring binoculars, lunch or snacks, water, talkabouts (walkie talkies), sturdy shoes, and layered clothing.

NOTE: This outing will focus on bird watching rather than a fast-paced hike.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
