Last month, the Land Trust gathered with dedicated volunteers for a volunteer appreciation event.
The group met at our Wantrup Preserve, enjoying a light breakfast and socializing before hearing from CEO Doug Parker, Stewardship Program Manager Mike Palladini and Lands Project Manager Lena Septimo.
Later, the group took a short loop hike around the property, taking in some of the more photogenic spaces found within the Land Trust’s preserve portfolio.
We have the best volunteers! Volunteers help with easement monitoring on agricultural properties and natural areas, restoration of native species, office assistance and leading hikes. Thank all of you once again for everything you do. We would not be where we are today without your hard work and enthusiasm.
Interested in becoming a Land Trust volunteer? We are currently looking for enthusiastic easement monitors who will explore properties not open to the public, documenting conditions and helping ensure proper protection. If interested, contact Lands Program Assistant Erin Erickson at erin@napalandtrust.org.
