April 5: Mt. George Summit Hike

Leader: Clarisa Rosas, David Oliver, & Ken Rands

Rating: Strenuous, 4 mi, 1-2k ft elevation gain

Hike a historic wagon trail to the summit of Mt. George on the Foote Preserve while enjoying spectacular views and spring blooms along the way. Be prepared for some steep sections of trail along the way. We’ll stop to enjoy the views at the top of the mountain before beginning the trek back down.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
