Sept 15: Ghisletta Wetlands

Leaders: Larry Kent & Robin Leong

Rating: Easy, 2-3 miles, < 1k ft elevation gain

Experience the fall shorebird migration and see or hear marshland birds in the normally inaccessible wetlands of the Napa River Flood Control District between the Napa River and Highway 29.

Bring: binoculars, lunch or snacks, water, sturdy shoes, and layered clothing.

Note: we will focus on bird watching rather than a faster-paced hike.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
