March 29: ATP Devil’s Well Hike

Leaders: Rodney & Leslie Ready

Rating: Strenuous, 5 mi, 1k ft elevation gain

This will be a loop hike going deep into the Archer Taylor Preserve. Highlights include the redwood grove, cascades, a tin cabin ruins, and the multi-tiered waterfall at Devil’s Well. It is a steep, narrow climb at points with some loose footing, rocky scrambles, and steep terrain.

Over the ankle hiking boots are required.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
