Black Sears family donates land to help create wildlife corridor

Latest coverage in Napa Valley Features on the Black Sears family donating 117 acres of pristine forest land on the top of Howell Mountain to the LTNC. It is adjacent to the land trust’s 3,030-acre Dunn-Wildlake Preserve and is in a key location to help the land trust create a continuous corridor of protected land for wildlife along the ridge on the eastern side of Napa Valley, said Doug Parker, Land Trust of Napa County’s president and CEO.
