Wantrup Wildlife Sanctuary

This Preserve has 730 acres of oak savannah, oak woodlands and migratory bird habitat located in Pope Valley. The property was conveyed to the Land Trust by Professor Siegfried von Ciriacy-Wantrup in 1982 and has the best example of oak savannah habitat in the Land Trust’s permanently held lands. In areas where cattle were removed, valley and blue oaks are interspersed with native grasses, wildflowers and shrubs.

ROBERT ANDREAE, Chair

Robert E. Andreae has been a principal, chief compliance office, and founding co-member of 5T Wealth Management LLC (formerly K&A Asset Management LLC), registered investment advisors. Napa, California. Currently he acts as a consultant and is involved in special projects and business development activities for the firm. He will continue to pursue a consulting a role with families, directors, officers, and staff of private and family foundations. Past corporate and business experience include investment management and trust services of regional bank; partner in a private real estate investment firm, San Francisco, California; officer of large regional bank holding company and diversified publicly traded financial services firm; and Manager, Tokyo office, for large international shipping company. Mr. Andreae’s community service experiences include being a board member and Finance Chair, Children’s Hospital Foundation, Oakland, California; Board Chair and Finance Chair, Napa Valley Community Foundation; Chair, St. Helena Rotary Foundation; Chair, St. Helena Chamber of Commerce; Caring for the Future -Â Capital Campaign, St. Helena Hospital; Finance Committee, Land Trust of Napa County; Vice-chair, St. Helena Library Foundation. Named Citizen of the Year by St. Helena Chamber of Commerce, August 2006.
