Archer Taylor Preserve

Located on the west side of Napa Valley, the Archer Taylor Preserve consists of 380 acres including a century-old redwood forest in the Redwood Creek.

Wantrup Wildlife Sanctuary

This Preserve has 730 acres of oak savannah, oak woodlands and migratory bird habitat located in Pope Valley. The property was conveyed to the Land Trust by Professor Siegfried von Ciriacy-Wantrup in 1982 and has the best example of oak savannah habitat in the Land Trust’s permanently held lands. In areas where cattle were removed, valley and blue oaks are interspersed with native grasses, wildflowers and shrubs.

Missimer Snell Wildflower

273 acres of this Snell Valley Preserve protects some of the most outstanding and rarest native wildflowers in Napa County.

ANNE COTTRELL, Vice Chair

Anne was born and raised in St. Helena. She majored in English and Environmental Studies at Yale. She received her law degree from Boalt Hall at UC Berkeley. During law school, she interned at Natural Resources Defense Council and at the California Attorney General in the Lands and Environment Sections. After law school, she worked for the Oregon Attorney General in the Appellate Section and then in the Natural Resources Section. She moved back to California in 2000 and has been in part-time private practice since then, focusing on land use work. She and her husband enjoy biking and hiking in Northern California, although these days they spend most of their energy chasing after their three boys.
