Wantrup Wildlife Sanctuary

This Preserve has 730 acres of oak savannah, oak woodlands and migratory bird habitat located in Pope Valley. The property was conveyed to the Land Trust by Professor Siegfried von Ciriacy-Wantrup in 1982 and has the best example of oak savannah habitat in the Land Trust’s permanently held lands. In areas where cattle were removed, valley and blue oaks are interspersed with native grasses, wildflowers and shrubs.

Amy Smith is a tax partner with Rabanal & Smith LLP in Napa, California. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. Amy provides income and estate tax compliance and planning services to Napa, Sonoma, and Solano County wineries, vineyards, and their owners. Prior to Rabanal & Smith, Amy worked in the tax department of Motto Kryla & Fisher LLP performing tax compliance, tax consulting and business advisory services for wine industry clientele. Prior to joining Motto Kryla & Fisher LLP, she worked in the tax departments of Ganze & Company and Armanino McKenna, LLP performing tax compliance services for businesses, individuals and estates. Amy earned her Masters of Taxation graduate degree and her Bachelors of Accounting undergraduate degree at Golden Gate University, San Francisco, CA. Amy has also earned the professional designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley. Amy served for six years on the Board of Directors of Napa Valley Support Services and was the Chairman of their Strategic Planning Committee.
