Wantrup Wildlife Sanctuary

This Preserve has 730 acres of oak savannah, oak woodlands and migratory bird habitat located in Pope Valley. The property was conveyed to the Land Trust by Professor Siegfried von Ciriacy-Wantrup in 1982 and has the best example of oak savannah habitat in the Land Trust’s permanently held lands. In areas where cattle were removed, valley and blue oaks are interspersed with native grasses, wildflowers and shrubs.

157 acres of scenic and recreational open space/urban park on Dry Creek Road.

Archer Taylor Permanent Preserve

Ultimately, this Preserve will encompass 380 acres, including a century-old redwood forest in the Redwood Creek watershed west of Napa.

Connolly Ranch Permanent Preserve

A 12-acre urban farm adjoining Westwood Hills Park in Napa that houses environmental and agricultural educational programs for over 3,000 Napa students per year.

Ghistella Wetlands and Open Space

83 acres of wetlands and open space, transferred to the Napa County Flood Control District as a part of the South Napa Wetlands Area.

Johnny Miller/Trancas Crossing

The Land Trust holds a conservation easement over these 33 acres transferred to the City of Napa in 2005 for a public park and northern terminus of the Napa River Trail.
