Schedule a Hike The Archer Taylor Preserve is open to the public by permission. First-time visitors are asked to come to one of the Preserve’s workdays, held on the second Saturday of each month, or to come with one of The Land Trust’s group-led hikes to be oriented to the Preserve and trails. A list of Land Trust hikes is available here. To sign up for a Second Saturday workday, please send an e-mail to Ann Schwing at least 24 hours in advance. Visitors who would like to arrange a visit to the Preserve should contact the caretaker at least 24 hours in advance at 707-254-0996 or by e-mailing him here. Visitors are asked to leave their dogs at home and to “leave no trace.” There is no smoking and restricted use of fire on the Preserve. The Land Trust Web site |
